What does Spirit Flow mean? It means being in your essence, living the life you are truly meant to live and being in flow. It is understanding your divine purpose and why you are here at this time. It is being in alignment to receive direct revelation from your guiding spirits and to develop a strong connection to source. Shamanism helps you deepen your understanding of your soul’s purpose and your authentic service to the world. We can all experience the transformational power of spirit when we are in full alignment and open to receiving messages that guide us along our path.
Guiding you on this path is Shamanic Practitioner, Mary Newstrom, PhD. I took my first shamanic journey in 1991, after working in-depth with my spirit guide Zenith for over a decade before that. I have studied with shamanic teachers here in the USA for over twenty years, and I have been working and learning from indigenous shamans in Peru for the last five years. I have a PhD in Psychology, along with an Integrative Wellness Coaching Certificate that gives me a unique approach to helping you along your shamanic path.
What does Spirit Flow mean for you? The twelve-month program, starting in the Spring of 2020 will give you an opportunity to study, practice, discuss and apply shamanic techniques in our modern lives in a warm and welcoming environment. The program offers a step-by-step guide for living in a shamanic way. Our days together will be filled with laughter, ceremony, journeying and learning new shamanic concepts.

In this intensive day workshop we will work with transmutation, the art of transforming the energy behind toxic thoughts, emotions, beliefs, and substances. We will be exploring a wide array of methods that you can use to help you transmute toxic energies into love and light.
We will also be working with the ancient practice of transfiguration, where we embody the Divine within ourselves to create miracles for all of life. We will learn how to radiate spiritual light to create healing for ourselves and others.

Soul Saturdays
SOUL Saturdays are starting back up! They are the 1st Saturday of each month. We host a marketplace for all things Metaphysical and Holistic. We will feature a variety of vendors, who will be sharing their goods and services. Free event and everyone welcome!
For the 1st one we are planning on having vendors in the parking lot, weather permitting! We are so excited!

Earth Magick Retreat
If you are looking for a special event for yourself to close out the summer, I invite you to consider the Earth Magick Retreat!
On the weekend of September 12-15, we will be gathering at the Stargazen Woodland Retreat, E20001 Cty Rd NL, Augusta,
just north of Augusta. You can choose to camp, or for a fee ($150), rent one of the small cabins for your three night stay.
Meals and snacks prepared by Lisa Lee will be included. "Every meal is intentional and infused with love" as Lisa focuses on nutrition and puts a whole-food spin on popular dishes. She uses flavorful herbs and locally sourced ingredients, and there will be gluten-free and vegetarian options.
During the retreat, you will be able to participate in many hands-on workshops and activities conducted by Judy Meinen, including Chakra work, Earth Angels, and Intuition tools, and by Erin LaFaive, including Herbalism and Plant Magic. You can also take part in the Sunrise Yoga led by Heather Wagner, who will later be leading a Full Moon Ceremony and Drum Washings.
There will also be other activity and healing options, plus time to spend journaling, exploring the grounds, or chatting with the staff or others on the journey.
As a brief timeline: On Thursday, you can check in any time after noon. The DIY stations and other activities will be in operation starting at 3 pm, Supper at 5 pm, and the Retreat proper by 6 pm. Sunrise Yoga will be at 7 am Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, followed by breakfast. Noon Lunch will be served Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and we will wind down by 3 pm on Sunday.

Drum-making Class with

In this workshop you will make your own one-sided drum that you will connect with on a very deep level. Your drum is an extension of self, and a gateway to greater understanding of our connection to all.
"The healing properties of a drum are found in the elements that make it: wood and animal hide. Making personal frame drums is a journey that is individually and spiritually meaningful. Teaching drum making classes involves storytelling and introspection. The drum symbolizes the heartbeat of life, the heartbeat of community. It is not simply an art form, but a tool for cleansing, centering and focusing one's intentions for health and happiness."

There is space for 13 people to make a drum that day. To ensure that we have enough supplies, we are asking for a $50 non-refundable deposit. Please double check this day before you commit. Again, your deposit is non-refundable.
